This section outline tools and methodologies that help communities reflect, evaluate and learn from the current and past situations in order to design and plan for a sustainable and resilient future. Methodologies are grounded in the framework of participatory action research and practice.

This section outline tools and methodologies that help community citizens strengthen their connections, relationships and capacities so that they can become more effective changemakers, decision-makers and community catalysts. An integral part of these tools is the focus on learning and training as a part of the participatory engagement process
Design & Planning
This section outline tools and methodologies that help leaders and citizens design and plan for a sustainable and resilient future. Incorporated into each suggested tool is the consideration of agroecological principles and urban-rural connectivity.
This section will suggest possible criteria to take into consideration when implementing the designs and plans for rural sustainable development. However, each community has very different rules and methods for implementing sustainability plans and projects.
